It’s been such a crazy week here… month even. I was looking over my to do list and it just keeps getting longer every day. Which is a good thing in a way because it means things are flowing the way they should be. But it also means that there’s less time to stop and smell the roses, or the fresh air, or sit by the water and just be. (Not that I’d be doing much sitting by the water in this weather!)
I’ve found that the next best thing is to sift through the photos I took last summer and fall, and when I can’t go outside and sit by the river, I can at least pull up a picture and do some deep breathing exercises to bring back the peaceful moments that I feel when I’m alone outside.
Today I’m very thankful that I have these shots to help me find that peace, and I’m thankful too that it’s Watery Wednesday and I can share them with you.
