With all the nice weather lately, the parks have been really crowded. Fortunately I was able to steal a solitary moment on a secluded part of the beach and enjoy watching a lone duck try and find his own moment of solitude. :)

I had hoped that with all the warm days we’ve been having, that maybe I’d get a glimpse of sand at the beach, but no such luck. The water looked almost inviting, except for all that ice around the edges. :)

So I know that I’m supposed to be living in the moment, and I really am thankful for the great week I’ve been having. Today is a gloriously sunny day and I love that, but…

It’s minus-freakin’-19 before the windchill, and I’m tired of being cold and cooped up inside. So here’s a few shots of the spring thaw last year, and yes… I’m anxiously awaiting the day when I can put my feet on green grass again, even if it is wet. :)
