The River at Dusk

These are from the other night when I went to the grocery store. It was just starting to get dark, so these didn’t turn out quite as well as I’d hoped but they are definitely straight outta the camera (and yeah I do have a few sunsets too but I’m saving those for another day).

I couldn’t believe how many ducks were gathered on the path behind the store.

This is my favorite cafe, all buttoned up for the winter…

And one last shot before it got too cold for me to take pictures. My hands were numb and shaking by time I was done out there. :)

By the time I was done I was actually glad to get into the store and warm up a bit. :)

Have a wonderful weekend, and don’t forget to check out all the other awesome participants at Scenic Sunday, and Straight Out of the Camera Sunday.

Have a wonderful day, and dare I say it… Go Canada Go!
I’m off to watch a hockey game :)

A Lazy Afternoon

That’s what I’m dreaming about these days. I had to pull more from the archives for this week’s Watery Wednesday because I’ve been so busy I haven’t even had time to go outside. It’s a good thing I have errands to run on Friday because that will be the first chance I have to get out and take some new pictures.

So these are from a lazy afternoon spent watching the ducks down at the cafe last March.

For more wonderfully watery sights, be sure to check out Watery Wednesday. And of course, there’s Outdoor Wednesday for more outdoor goodness.

Have an amazing day!

Through the Red Branches

Ducks strolling along the riverbank
Stopping for a rest

When I took these, I was mostly interested in the ducks. I didn’t even notice that the branches were a lovely red until I got everything downloaded. :)

Enjoy other ruby treasures at Ruby Tuesday, hosted by Work of the Poet.

Have an amazing day!
