Good eye! I probably would have slid right by those reflections! That looks cold and slippery!

      Hi Quilly,

I probably would have too except that I was standing on the bridge looking down because I needed to stop and catch my breath for a minute. :)

Two good reflections. I agree with you about the B&W. I think the first photo would be even better if you cropped out the bank and focused on the ice and the water, especially in B&W.

Snow! What can I say about the white snow?

Your blog description according to Bernard Shaw is about finding and creating life …

Well, since snow only comes at wintertime, wouldn’t it be fitting for me to say as a matter of reflecting life that Snow recreate itself as life reproduces itself?

Nice rhetorical philosophy here as we focus the allegorical meaning of snow applied to life.

Snow as white means pure. We can therefore purify (snow) our life with pure thought to wash out our rotten self from the indulgence of trials that beset us.

I am not sure if you get my point. From time to time, I love to beat around the bush just as the snow beats the track.

    :)

    Thanks for the visit Helena.

I like the second one especially – all our snow is slowly thawing at the moment but I don’t intend venturing out in it today.

These are great reflection shots, and I too love that you’ve done them in B & W. I have a particular fondness for B&W photography, and these are really nice.
