My Afternoon Stroll

I finally had enough of sitting inside and braved the cold yesterday to go for a stroll along the river. I ended up being out for about two hours, and even got in a stop at my favourite second-hand bookshop on the way home. :)

This is one of my favorite trees to hang out under in the summer. I had no idea it was so bent over until I saw it without leaves today!

    Love the sunlight on the scene!!

      It actually wasn’t too bad. Only in the open spots where there was no protection from the wind could I really feel the cold.

    i love the serenity of the place. Looks cold (brr), but a lot of fun (it never snows, where i am).

    oh, and that bent-over tree must make for a very good shade in the summer….:P

    Enjoyed going on the afternoon stroll with you. Interesting how that tree is bent over. I have favorite trees and cacti that I like to check on as the seasons change. The second-hand bookshop sounds like fun too.
