Critters at the Mall
I snapped these at the grocery store the other day. We were on our way into the mall and the noise from chirping birds was overwhelming. I started looking around to see where it was coming from, and was surprised to find they had congregated on top of the shopping carts. These don’t give the full effect because as I got close enough to snap the picture, most of them flew away. :)

Have a great first weekend of 2010!

Thanks! The reflections were almost an afterthought. I was so focused on trying to capture the birds I didn’t even see the reflections until I got home and downloaded everything.

First I would like to compliment you on the nice pictures, I especially like the top one. It’s funny because yesterday at the grocery store I noticed that most of the carts were gone from the normal spot and the ground was covered with bird poop. I think our birds had the same idea. :)

Thanks James! That’s really funny about your shopping carts. I was at the store again today and there were no birds in sight. Maybe they headed south for a little cross-border shopping. :)
