I love morning pages. I've been doing them for about six months now, and couldn't imagine starting the day any other way.

I've been doing pages which is a form of journaling..It's an exercise from the book the Artist Way. I would agree, it's about a dialogue with oneself.

Hi Jewels

You are very welcome. Don't let your fear stop you now. Most people don't get their first draft done, let alone make it to the editing stage. Just keep in mind that your perfect agent is out there waiting for you. I wish you much success with your book!

Thanks for being here!

I've been putting off finishing the edit of my book because I'm so afraid I won't find an agent. Thanks for this post. I really need to believe more in myself.

Thanks Patti! I had so much fun yesterday, I can't wait to do it again. :)

I made a list of stuff to work on, but didn't put down specific topics, just sites and autoresponder series that I wanted content for. That gave me a general direction, but didn't force me to write something I really wasn't feeling.

Hi Patti!

You sound a lot like me. I refuse to get old too! :)

I agree, we will get there. When it's our time we will totally rock the world. :)

As for writing challenges, I like the one day ones. I've tried several times to do Nablopomo and I just can't seem to make it past two or three days in a row. But I'm really working on being much more consistent in my blogging.

I think two pages a day is a good goal for PLR.(says the girl who hasn't done any yet today.) I'd love to be able to whip out a 5-pack every day, but for me that's unrealistic right now. And I think the slower pace forces me to make sure that I'm putting out good content, not just rushing through something to get it done.

The more I read your stuff, the more I wonder if we're the same person. LOL. This is freaky cool.
I need to start prepping for 10K days a little better. I may not decide on topics to write about, but at least plan to close email and everything else and just write!

You did great on your first 10K. One thing we always stress is it's not about the word count as much as it is about just the love of being a writer. :)

Great post! At 44 I'm starting over again. But, I think it keeps us from growing old--which I refuse to do! :)

I'd do this writing thing without being paid too. In fact, I've done a lot of this writing thing without being paid. LOL.

I'm also trying to do more blog posts, let people get to know me. And, like you, I don't know what to be an expert in. I have so many avenues I want to take. But we'll get there. One day it'll smack us up side the head and we'll know what it is we're to teach others.

I don't think Milli has updated it lately, but she also has a site about Screenwriting in the Boonies. She spent a year working on a screenplay. Her main focus right now is her travel blog, Milliver's Travels.

I've thought about doing some writing challenges on my blog, but part of me says it's just something else to keep up with. And sometimes I'm just too ADD for that. I am getting better though. I can focus when I force myself---and use my cool timer. :) I did Wednesday Writing Sprints at one time. I may have to bring that up again.

I'm trying to write at least two plr articles per day so I can build up my store. I know it'll take time, it just seems to be a snails pace right now.
